Royal Bathurst Show 2026, what a weekend! From stormy skies and huge crowds to sunshine, laughter, colour and all the classic country-show energy — this one was packed with memories from start to finish. 🌦️🌈

Our Mermaidia Braids stall was right in the middle of all the action, surrounded by rides, food, music, people and that amazing showground buzz. Whether the clouds were rolling in or the sun was shining, the sparkle definitely didn’t stop! 💕🧜‍♀️

We had such a beautiful time meeting families, creating colourful braids, chatting with visitors and watching kids walk away with that special Mermaidia confidence. Every braid, every smile and every little “look at my hair!” moment makes the long days so worth it. ✨

Michelle and Michael brought the full show energy too — pink cowgirl hat, bright shirts, sparkles and smiles included! Because let’s be honest… at Mermaidia Braids, subtle was never really the plan. 🤠😂

And of course, Holly was once again one of the biggest stars of the show. From cuddles in the grass to being surrounded by kids giving her pats, she soaked up every bit of love like the true Mermaidia mascot she is. 🐾💖 Even the ear muffs came out when show life got a little too loud!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our little travelling business, had a chat, got braided, loved on Holly or simply shared a smile with us.
