Hello hello!

Mermaidia Braids began with a simple moment in 2022 at a Queensland theme park. Michelle and Jordan were excited to book a hair braiding service, only to find it fully booked and surprisingly expensive.

Michael’s jaw dropped.
Michelle’s creative brain started ticking.
And just like that, the idea for Mermaidia Braids was born.

What started as a mission to bring fun, affordable braids to everyday families quickly grew into a colourful mobile business bringing sparkle and confidence to events across Australia.

Our Braiding Journey 🚛✨

Today, Mermaidia Braids is a travelling hair braiding service operating across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, specialising in:

• Festival braids
• Extension ponytails
• Event hair braiding
• Kids and adult braiding services
• Custom and intricate braid styles

We travel showground to showground in our vibrant braiding truck, Bubbles, delivering professional and a quality value for money braiding experience at agricultural shows, festivals, markets and community events.

The organiser and driving force behind the business. From logistics to customer care, Michael keeps Mermaidia Braids rolling smoothly from town to town.

Our road-trip companion and unofficial mascot, spreading smiles wherever we travel.

Bubbles the Braiding Truck — our magical, colourful mobile braiding hub that brings Mermaidia Braids to life on the road.
