Known as “A Country Show in the City,” the Queanbeyan Show brings the excitement and traditions of country life right to the doorstep of Canberra. The 129th Queanbeyan Show will be held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, with organisers planning their biggest show yet.
One of this year’s biggest attractions will be the 2026 DockDogs Australia National Titles. Visitors can watch talented dogs sprint along a platform and launch themselves into a pool in spectacular long-jump competitions. It is fast, exciting and always draws a huge crowd.
Children will also love Dinkum Dinosaurs, featuring comedy, ventriloquism, dancing dinosaur costumes and animatronic dinosaur displays. Add thrilling carnival rides, animals, agricultural competitions, pavilion exhibits and entertainment, and there will be something happening around every corner.
The show also celebrates the skills and traditions of the region through livestock, horses, working dogs, woodchopping, local cooking, crafts and produce. While the complete 2026 program is still being finalised, the Queanbeyan Show is designed as a welcoming weekend where families can experience country life, support exhibitors and make lasting memories together.
