What a day at the Pambula NSW Show!
It was one of those classic coastal show days where the wind had big opinions… but the sunshine had our backs, and the whole event turned out to be absolutely perfect.
From the moment we arrived, we could feel the excitement in the air — families rolling in, kids racing between rides, music floating across the grounds, and that beautiful country-show buzz that makes you feel instantly at home.
Weather
Let’s talk about the wind… because WOW.
The breeze was next-level and kept us on our toes all day — hair flying, ponytails swaying, and our gazebo doing its best to stay calm in the chaos.
But honestly? The sun shone through, the sky stayed bright, and it ended up being one of those “windy but wonderful” days that we’ll always remember.
The Show Vibe
Pambula Show had such a welcoming, family-friendly feel. It wasn’t just busy — it was happy-busy.
There were so many fun things happening all around us, including:
🎭 Live entertainment on stage
🐥 Kids activities and novelty stalls
🐂 The mechanical bull bringing the laughs (and the brave riders!)
🦆 Comedy duck races (seriously… so fun!)
🍔 Classic show food options that make it impossible to walk past without getting hungry
Everywhere we looked, there were smiling faces, kids with fairy floss, and that “holiday energy” that only a show day can bring.
Mermaidia Braids at Pambula
Even with the wind trying to steal the show, Mermaidia Braids was pumping!
Our stall was full of colour, sparkle and excited little customers choosing their dream hair for the day.
We loved seeing the kids light up when they spotted our wall of ponytails and braids — it’s honestly one of the best parts of what we do.
We created:

And let’s just say… the wind made every ponytail look even MORE dramatic in the best way!
The Best Moments

📸 Families stopping for photos after their sparkle transformation
😍 Seeing the rainbow colours shining in the sun
🐾 And of course… having Holly nearby keeping watch and being the cutest little sidekick ever
There’s something so special about a small-town show where everyone is relaxed, friendly, and genuinely excited to be there.
Final Thoughts
The Pambula NSW Show was everything we hoped it would be — windy, bright, busy, welcoming, and full of magic.
Even with the wild breeze, the sunshine made it feel like a dream day, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came over, supported our little travelling business, and trusted us to add sparkle to your show day.
