119. Nowra Show 2026

Nowra Show 2026 – Round Two & Bigger Than Ever!

Back to Nowra Show for the second time… and wow, it felt good to be back.

There’s something special about returning to a show where people recognise you. Where families say, “We saw you last year!” and kids run straight up to the braid wall already knowing exactly what colour they want.

Nowra, you did not disappoint.

Weather

Classic South Coast skies — blue one minute, moody clouds rolling in the next.

We had sunshine, we had that golden evening glow, and we had that beautiful carnival-at-dusk vibe that makes everything feel just a little bit magical.

Braids, Glitter & Happy Faces

From the moment we opened, the chair was full.

We created:
✨ Long rainbow ponytails flying through the air
✨ Double festival braids with tassels bouncing behind little legs
✨ Glitter parts sparkling in the sun
✨ Bright blends that matched the carnival lights

One of our favourite moments? Watching a little superstar soar high on the bungee trampoline with her rainbow ponytail flying behind her — pure joy written all over her face.

That’s the magic. Confidence. Freedom. Fun.

Show Highlights

Nowra always brings the energy.

• The giant thrill rides lighting up the night sky
• The mechanical bull drawing crowds
• Families lining up for showbags
• Helicopters flying overhead
• The hum of music, laughter and carnival lights

As the sun dipped down, the show transformed. Neon pinks and greens reflected across the rides. The Claw spun high above the crowd. The atmosphere buzzed.

And right there in the middle of it all? Mermaidia Braids glowing under our marquee lights.

Bubbles in the Spotlight

Bubbles looked right at home parked proudly among the rides.

We swear she was trying to get on the bungee trampoline herself this year 😂

Second year at Nowra and she’s already acting like a local.

The Nowra Community

This is what makes coming back so special.

The returning families.
The friendly stallholders.
The smiles.
The “See you next year!”

There’s something powerful about building relationships show after show.

Nowra isn’t just another stop — it’s becoming part of our Mermaidia journey story.

Why We Love Coming Back

Attending Nowra for the second time reminded us why we love what we do.

It’s not just about hair.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about excitement.
It’s about being part of a community tradition.

Thank you Nowra for welcoming us back with open arms.

Round two was bigger, brighter and even more magical.

We’ll see you again next year — with even more sparkles.
