🌟 Mansfield Lantern Festival 2025 – A Sparkling Night Under the Stars 🌟

We’ve just returned from the Mansfield Lantern Festival 2025 — and despite the winter chill, it was a night full of colour, light, and community spirit!

🗓️ Saturday 21st June
With temperatures hovering at a crisp zero degrees, the sun shone brightly but the cold was definitely biting! Even so, the atmosphere was magical as lanterns glowed and families rugged up to enjoy the festival.

This year, our stall was positioned closer to the food court, which gave us a new perspective on the event. While the change of location and the frosty weather meant our sales were around 60% down from last year, we still had a wonderful time connecting with festival-goers.

✨ Festival Braids & Ponytail Magic
We kept busy throughout the evening, creating 39 Festival Braids/Natural Braids and 39 fabulous Extension Ponytails. It was so lovely seeing people light up — quite literally — as they left our stall with sparkling, colourful hairstyles to match the lantern-lit night.

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the cold to visit us. Your smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm made the chilly night feel so much warmer. The Mansfield Lantern Festival continues to be one of our favourite events, and we’re grateful for the community’s support year after year.
