🌿 Celebrating Culture, Community & Connection at VACCA NAIDOC Week – Apex Park 2025 🌿

On Wednesday 10th July 2025, we had the absolute honour of joining the VACCA NAIDOC Week Celebrations at Apex Park, and what a day it was! 💛❤️🖤

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with joy, pride, and deep cultural spirit. It’s always a privilege to be part of an event that brings the community together to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture, and achievements—and this year’s NAIDOC theme was felt in every corner of the park.

The day was filled with traditional performances, storytelling, music, food, art, and hands-on cultural activities for all ages. Elders shared their wisdom, kids laughed and played with face paint and crafts, and families gathered to connect with culture and each other. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength and resilience of First Nations people, and the importance of coming together in recognition and respect.

We absolutely love working alongside VACCA (Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency) for these incredible events. Their leadership in fostering community, cultural safety, and positive change is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to support their vision for strong Aboriginal families and children.

Thank you, VACCA, for including us in this powerful day of celebration, education, and unity. We left Apex Park with full hearts and braided hair, grateful for the chance to be part of such a meaningful event. 💫
