This year’s Flame Fest was one of the chilliest we’ve attended! The icy winds rolled through the racecourse, and coats, scarves, and beanies were the fashion must-haves of the night. While the cold may have kept some families tucked up at home, those who braved the frosty air were rewarded with a cosy, community vibe.

Our Mermaidia Braids crew rugged up and set up with full sparkle power! Michael and Michelle were in full swing, keeping the energy high and making sure every braid, ponytail, and sparkle accessory shone brightly against the winter night. Jordan added her braiding magic too, ensuring each hairstyle had that signature Mermaidia glow.

Although Flame Fest was quieter than previous years, it never stopped being fun. Families who visited our stand were full of smiles, laughter, and warmth, proving that community spirit always wins against the cold. We loved seeing people come together around food vans, fire displays, and live music.

Braids & Ponytails 💇‍♀️🌈

The braids lit up the night! Festival braids and bright ponytails sparkled under our stall lights, making the chilly weather fade into the background for our happy clients. Even the guys joined in, rocking their braids with cheeky grins and proving it’s all about fun and memories at Mermaidia Braids.

Final Thoughts 🌟

Benalla Flame Fest 2025 may have been smaller and colder, but it was filled with heartfelt moments and a wonderful sense of community. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a braid, a chat, or simply to share a smile. We’re already looking forward to warming things up again next year!
