Weather 🌬️☀️

The Penrith Show delivered two very different days of weather! Saturday was a challenge with strong winds whipping through the grounds, even breaking one of our gazebos. Despite the blustery battle, the crowds were fantastic and kept the energy high all day and into the evening. By Sunday, the winds had calmed, making for a much smoother and more enjoyable day under the big blue sky.

Our Mermaidia Braids crew once again gave it everything. Even with the wind trying its hardest to slow us down, the team pushed through with plenty of sparkle, laughter, and determination. By Sunday, with calmer conditions, we were able to focus on the fun and bring out even more festival vibes.

The Penrith community always shows up in full force, and this year was no exception. Families, teens, and kids of all ages lined up to add colour and joy to their weekend. We loved hearing all the compliments about our styles, and the support from everyone who visited truly warmed our hearts.

Braids & Ponytails 💇‍♀️🌈

This year, Rumi braids stole the spotlight! They were an absolute hit, with so many people falling in love with their unique style and vibrant colours. Alongside our classic festival braids and ponytails, the Rumi range added that extra wow factor that had people coming back to admire (and grab one for themselves!).

Final Thoughts 🌟

The Penrith Show 2025 had its windy challenges, but it didn’t stop us from creating magical memories and gorgeous braids. A big thank you to everyone who braved the gusts on Saturday and came back again on Sunday to enjoy the calmer weather with us. We’ll see you next year, Penrith—bigger, brighter, and with plenty more Rumi braids to share!
