Camden Show – Sunshine, Sparkles & a Whole Lot of Fun! 🎡☀️💖
We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at the Camden Show, and what a way to keep the magic of 2025 rolling! This two-day event was jam-packed with fun, sunshine, friendly faces, and loads of colour – just the way we love it at Mermaidia Braids!
Representing the sparkle squad this time was just Michael and Michelle, and between the two of us, we brought the full Mermaidia energy to every corner of the grounds.
The show ran from 8am to 11pm on both Friday and Saturday, but since the last couple of hours were mostly dedicated to thrill rides and adrenaline seekers, we packed up around 9pm each night – leaving just enough time to enjoy the buzz from afar.
✨ Friday Highlights
Perfect weather – sunny skies and a light breeze made for an ideal day outdoors
Michelle completed 25 gorgeous festival braids
Michael worked his magic on 3 fabulous extension ponytails
A great day for sales, with lots of families stopping by early and plenty of smiles from our lovely Camden visitors.
✨ Saturday Success
As always, Saturday was the big one – the showgrounds were absolutely pumping and the energy was electric all day long!
Michelle completed 35 braids (yes, THIRTY-FIVE! 👏)
Michael fitted 11 stunning ponytails
We barely stopped for a moment, and we loved every second of it. From little ones excited for their first sparkle to Adults eager for a colourful look, the vibe was incredible.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, smiled at us, danced in our mirror, or just waved as they walked past. The Camden community was so welcoming, and the show itself was beautifully run.
We’ll definitely be back – with even more colour, energy, and glittery goodness next time!
